Funds availability and alleged 'Fraud Checks'
I'd like an explanation as to why the length of time the customers payment is held before being released for withdrawal is so high and varies dependant on the amounts earnt?
If, as PPH claim, the most extreme time, 14 days, is to carry out fraud checks on the payments, why does this timescale magically decrease when the payment amounts earnt within a given time period are larger?
Surely common sense dictates the larger the amount being processed the more in depth the fraud checks should be?
But no, I strongly suspect this has nothing to do with fraud checks and everything to do with PPH retaining the funds in their accounts to gain interest.
Would welcome PPH admin (employees, not volunteers) proving otherwise to me with a sensible explanation for these varying timescales together with what cxan possibly take 14 days.
(and of course, it is effectively 16 days because even once cleared, you ask us to wait 'up to 48 hours' for the withdrawal to be processed)

Hi Matt, thank you for sharing your concerns with us.
As a rapidly growing business, we have to follow stricter regulations and complete more checks before we can release payments that are made through our platform to protect our users. We can assure you that our processes, terms and conditions, and actions, all comply with current law.
The length of your clearing period will be determined by how much you have earned on PeoplePerHour in the previous two calendar months. This ranges from 3 days to 14 days. Following the clearing period, all withdrawal requests will be processed by the PeoplePerHour team within 2 working days.
You will be able to see your current clearing period on your profile. Head to Actions >> View Earnings and go to Control Panel. You can also read more about the different clearing periods and criteria here.
As always, please feel free to email support@peopleperhour.com if you have any other questions and a member of the team will be happy to help.
Best,
The Community Team
