Scam
Worked in a translation project for this guy no payment whatsoever https://www.peopleperhour.com/freelancer/stomzy-drake-nwmnaaz?ref=buyer
Seems like a scam, what do you guys think?

They’re not freelancers Nancy. They are here to make a quick dollar on the site and this is why all the scammers have suddenly posted jobs. This site has so many desperate ‘I’ll do it’ people willing to believe any job for any terms. PPH should really stop allowing people to join unless they have genuine skills, portfolio and experience.

PPH need to take some responsibility before the platform folds completely. A starting point would be to stop taking on new freelancers in over subscribed skill areas, and implement some kind of identity verification on buyers.
The system now is in complete disarray. They allow anybody to sign up and post anything and it is a green light for scammers, and there is no shortage of desperate people who think there is easy money to be made. The genuine buyers are deserting the platform. We all know that in economic hard times we have to seriously up our game just to survive, but PPH are doing nothing. -
Totally agree Simon. Covid played a major contribution to the 'side hustle' culture where an influx of people joined the site and provided no value to the marketplace whatsoever. The majority have left but with the economy heading to a recession they will surely try to come back.
Canva has made all these people think they are graphic designers and the site seems to have more data entry experts than is realistically necessary. It doesnt help that there are countless youtube videos giving incorrect videos on PeoplePerHour and how to get a successful profile.
