Job Currencies
AnsweredCan anyone confirm, are the currencies posted jobs always in either Sterling or US Dollars? For example, if a buyer's location says Australia, and their job posting shows a dollar sign on the amount, is that US Dollars, or Australian Dollars?
Thanks.

Thanks Kelly.
The answer, in case it's useful for anyone else, is:
"On PPH we have USD, EUR and GBP as available currencies, so every time you see the dollar sign it is always USD.
When you select a currency for your account in the bottom left hand side of any page, all Jobs and Hourlies will be initially displayed with an approximate conversion based on the currency that you have selected unless they are already in that currency.
As a Job poster is the one that will be paying to have the work undertaken, they will select a currency for that Job and Sellers will only be able to send in Proposals in that currency.
The same goes for Hourlies, the Seller will choose a currency for their Hourlie and, although an approximate amount will initially display on that Hourlie if your selected currency differs from what they have chosen, when you select the 'Buy Now' option, the exact currency and price for that Hourlie will be displayed."

Can we have a conversion box (even if it is approximate) as I have been caught out by assuming the client was using their home currency. Knowing how much to charge is tricky to work out as we don't know how you come about your conversion rate. Also there are charges to get paid in another currency. that isn't made clear on the bidding page.
Just make all of this obvious to the seller and the buyer, so we know what we are letting ourselves in for.
It makes sense to simply have USD next to the dollar sign. I had no idea that USD was the only option.
