Seller rating

After commissioning a job, I have realized that the seller and I are not on the same page. So I have requested a refund so that I don't waste any more of the sellers time.
It was a misunderstanding so it was not anybody s mistake.
The seller is now worried about her rating and wants to push ahead with the job. But I am worried that this will set a negative tone on the outcome.
Is there any way to cancel the job without affecting the rating?
