Newbie: UK based client, I'm a US based business

Hello! Looking to make proposal, and found a UK based request. It matches my skill set and business. However, I am concerned.

How does getting paid work? Since they are in the UK, will my fees be more when doing a bank transfer? Does the bank transfer come from PPH or from them? Additionally, with the fees, am I understanding correctly that PPH takes about 3% of the overall award? Is that per hour or the whole job monthly?
