How to remove bad feedback if it was received my mistake?
AnsweredHello!
I have a problem with bad feedback I received, while I'm in the process of working now.
The client decided to use the add-on from my hourlie, so I had to change the price of my first proposal. I made a new (second) proposal to a client. He accepted it.
Then I made a refund for the first proposal, as it is not actual (the client asked for add-on to the first service). Finally I've got an automatic 1-star bad feedback for not completing the work for my client. But that's not true, as I'm currently working on it.
Please, suggest, how can I remove this bad feedback? Should I ask my client to do that? Or can any of your support members help me in this situation?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Photolamos,
If they have changed their mind about your experience with you as a Seller after they have left feedback unfortunately it can't be changed. We encourage honest feedback that is a true reflection of your experience.
However, if they made a genuine typing error (for example accidentally selected 2 stars when they meant 5!) then contact PPH Customer Support immediately.
Many thanks

Pilar, the post explains that this is a case of automatic one-star feedback because the job was cancelled, not a client changing their mind, and not a typing error.
Photolamus, you can contact support on support@peopleperhour.com and see if they'll remove the feedback. In future, rather than cancelling the first job, you could just have raised an additional proposal in the workstream for the add-on and asked the client to accept both.

I've just had the same thing happen. A previous client bought an hourlie, but our workstream (chats) was on the previous job. I then didn't realise he had bought the hourlie already, so raised a proposal which he paid on. This left the hourlie outstanding so I needed to refund him this. In doing so I got a 1 star feedback rating automatically. It's a really silly system, there needs to be more options to categorise refunds of such invoices to show it is a purely administrative reason for cancelling a job and issuing a refund.
Also, I have just submitted a proposal for a separate job, so whilst I am waiting for PPH to remove the 1 star feedback the client may be reviewing my bid, she will read my 1 star feedback!! This is not ideal.
