Sort of like the "facebook" style, allowing people to contact those online, and leave messages for those who aren't!

  My point was that if I have a phone or skype chat, all that's agreed / clarified etc... is outside of PPH. This happened badly a few months ago when someone was just after my info as a phishing scam. It was rather clever too and almost worked. But since that conversation had happened off PPH, I felt that I had no opportunity to report them. Pffff......

  The way around that kind of thing is to summarise the conversation in the PPH stream and ask the buyer to confirm.
  
  You really have to be careful about buyers. So far I've only had two dodgy ones - one wanted to secretly record iphone conversations, the other thought I was "brilliant" up until the time I sent an invoice, then demanded that PPH refund the deposit. A warning about taking them to court resulted in full payment.

  So I find that outside conversations are fine, but I summarise important things in the PPH stream so there is a record.
