Currency change option while sending proposal

There is no option available to change currency from euro to dollars or pounds while sending a proposal to certain client. There is option in payments available "Default currency" which I set to dollars. Now while I am sending proposal its appears in pound. I am not able to change this while sending proposal.

My clients told me so that kindly send proposal in dollars which I couldn't so I had to calculate the equivalent amount and send proposal all over again. Kindly guide us or solve this issue.

  I am having this exact issue, all my proposals are coming in pounds meanwhile my currency on my profile is set to $

  hi fela... i reported this issue to pph after my feature request... what reply i got was that the buyer decides the currency for his project and we can send proposal in that currency... may be the buyers sometimes dont keep this thing in mind that they need to change currency according to them and end up with some other currency

  I have this issue all the time. Except I am in the UK and have my profile set to Pounds by default in the settings. But still some job proposals only request Euros and some Dollars. Occasionally I might see one in Pounds but most the time I have to use a currency converter to give an accurate quote.

  This is a ridiculously simple issue that PPH could easily fix but still it has been here since I joined last year.

  This is annoying, I just want to use GBP and that's my default, I still end up issuing proposals in $ - annoying.

  I've just completed a job for a client using the same currency as I am (GBP), but because of that same issue I've had to use a currency converter and send my proposal in USD...

  Same problem for me right now. I have agreed on a pounds sterling figure with my client - we are both in the UK - but my default currency is USD and I can't change the proposal currency.
  
  Can someone please answer this!!! - The problem has been unresolved for over two years!!

  A client has sent me a proposal request in dollars. 

  She is in Singapore ?  is it US dollars or Sing dollars or any other dollars?  There's no way to find out?   I dont want to quote her, she accepts and then I find out its in Sing Dollars and loose out?

  I'm facing the same problem. 

  My default currency is in Euros and my client currency too, but my proposal is in GBP.

  Can anybody explain why?
