Stop spamming your users.

PPH is a great community and I'm eager to work with other people here. However it must be said that this website is the absolute worst website I've ever encountered in terms of unwanted spam. I've unsubscribed within multiple e-mails, and through the site, but the messages just keep coming day after day after day. At a certain point, this distraction in our inboxes cease to become friendly reminders and turn into major annoyances--they turn us off to the overall benefits that your service provides. Please, please PLEASE reconsider your policy, and do not subject all of your new users to this onslaught of communication by default. It diminishes the value of what I hope is an otherwise high-quality service. 

Similarly, it feels very invasive that by default, all of my activity is posted to my Facebook profile. Though I luckily had the foresight to make those posts private, this also adds diminishes your image for me as a user.

  People I know are being spammed over and over for an endorsement, even after providing one :( We need to be able to turn this off!

  PPH blocks many profile even without giving any reason like this
