Public vs Private Job Offers

What's the difference between the two? Do different people see the job offer when it's public or private? I can't find anywhere on PeoplePerHour that explains this!

  Many thanks for your message.

  Public jobs are available to all users on PPH.

  Private jobs are only available to the user/s who are invited.
