I'd like to be able to tip somebody that has delivered an outstanding piece of work
As per the title, when paying an invoice it would be nice to have the ability to pay a tip on top of the initial fee as an appreciation to a seller that has exceeded expectations.

This has been an ongoing request that I've seen too, so it would be really great to have this as an option. I don't think it's acceptable to ask for the sell to send a deposit request and raise another invoice, it's more a token of gesture that would be done differently. Like leaving a tip with the bill in a restaurant. It should be easy for the buyer to be able to leave a tip without having to ask for any deposits / invoices to be raised.

Mohammed, I think you misunderstood me. I'm actually agreeing that it's a really good idea to be able to have the ability to tip a seller. However what I'm saying is that I don't think the buyer should have to ask the seller to raise a deposit request.... It should be easier for the buyer to just be able to leave a tip without all of that backwards and forwards.....

Yes I agree with you ,a bonus payment option as in oDesk, easy and with that surprise effect : Hey Kunta Kinte your very generous client sent you a few cents as bonus for your.... :)
But why it has to be this way ? in the end you are going to pay a bonus to your freelancer, why etiquett-ing everything? deposit request and invoice won't take more than 1 minute. I don't mind doing this.

I'm not tip cultured guy, I know in some countries tip is tax or vat synonym :) and when you hear a request like this, feels like it's going to be a $500 tip, but the reality it's a few cents : $5 $10 $20 or max $50 in very rare and rare occasions $100.
You are not going to give your kidney as a tip for sure, so what if the seller doesn't accept this kind of gestures, should we ask for a feature to reject/refund the tip ?
