Ebay selling rules

Hi everyone, is it normal for someone to ask you to list and sell items through your own ebay account? as I was asked to contact him through his own email account to get details of items to list, paying the listing charges myself and being refunded by him.

This sounds like a scam to me, but is it a scam, or is it normal procedure?

I'm new here and would like some advice.

  I can see why you are asking for advice here. If this is what the buyer wants to do and this makes you feel uncomfortable, you should speak with them and let them know how you are feeling towards this. Ensure you get enough funds in escrow first to cover eBay and PayPal charges if this is the way you decide to proceed.
