Refund fees after the seller couldn't do what he agreed
I've allocated two jobs that the sellers chose not to complete and I've been charged a refund fees..... How's that work out?
JOB 1
A logo. The seller later said that he couldn't do it. It seems that although I sent him loads of examples and wrote up what I hoped it would convey he still didn't understand. I didn't even get a draft example. He said he was pulling out.
JOB 2
A website on my 1and1 account/site. I gave the guy everything he needed but he said firstly he couldn't transfer the domains - even though I gave him all the details - I did it myself. He then said he couldn't set up WordPress on 1and1 - I did it myself. he then said he couldn't get his site online on 1and1 - I did a dummy one myself. He then said he couldn't get hold of 1and1 customer support - I had no trouble. He then said maybe 1and1 had blocked access from India.... I then said - maybe we should call it a day.
He agreed to do a refund on grounds he couldn't complete the job and I HAVE BEEN PENALISED WITH A REFUND CHARGE.
That can't be right can it?
