The Clarification Board is a UX Nightmare
Here are my major issues with the Clarification Board:
- Posts need approval to appear, which can take hours (or even days), if posted at all. It means sellers who send blind proposals are at an advantage in terms of getting a conversation started first, but at a disadvantage in terms of their bid acceptance percentage.
- Users can't see the name of the buyer and their posting while writing a proposal at the same time.
- Every single posting I've seen requires clarification. I have no idea what the job posting template tells buyers to include, but it seems like it isn't much. So when posts require approval and are difficult to even write, it's fair to state the pre-job communication experience is broken and in desperate need of repair.
Fix it.
