PayPal Account 'Pending' for over a week

I added my PayPal account over a week ago and it is still showing as 'Pending' - why has it not yet been approved?

  Following... I also want to know how long this verification will take. Mine has been Pending for only 3 days now. The email said few days, I wonder how many days they are talking about.
