Discrepancy in Discount Amount

I was given a 5% discount for accepting my first offer. For a amount of USD 550, the site offered only $10 discount. However, 5% of $550 should be $27.5. Kindly explain.

Secondly, the service charge for bank transfer is 5% as mentioned in your site, however Bank transfer option is not provided during payment. Kindly explain
