issue with freelancer
AnsweredI have used your company for some time to get work done and generally I have been happy with it with no qualms. I recruited a freelancer to help me with data analysis at the end of March. I gave a week deadline which passed. I kept chasing him and he assured me everything was going ok. I was prepared to wait for a bit longer. I have a grant application pending this data analysis so was conscious of deadlines. I then asked for the data last week, nothing materialised after waiting all day. He told me he would deliver Wednesday morning, which came and went. Then I was promised Friday, then Saturday and finally Sunday, the final day I could get the data as I am on call in a busy hospital and will not have time to write the grant application as I am busy in the hospital attempting to save lives. On top of this, your freelancer has caused me undue stress, panic and worry and has FAILED to deliver the work after the fifth consecutive deadline he has been given. On top of this, today-Sunday -he had the audacity to ask me to do part of the work for him, a piece of work that should have been done INITIALLY to do the data analysis. He reassured me he was FINALISING the project. This seems to be a lie. He has compromised a great opportunity for me to get a competitive grant after I was short listed and I was very disappointed. When I explained this to him, he continuously dismissed me and was condescending in his replies. I am never using your platform again. I would urge you to kindly get the data from this deceptive, time wasting man please so I can salvage this project between my tiring on calls.
I had also recruited another freelancer for another project a few weeks ago and due to my bad experience, will be cancelling this.
