Giving tips to freelancers

If client and freelancer agree on a job for X amount and afterwards the freelancers raises an invoice for that amount, is there a way for the client to pay more than this?

For instance the client could be very happy with the job and wishes to give a tip. Or the job spec changed slightly during the project so that the freelancer did more work as agreed with the client but the new value was low enough that a new proposal wasn't deemed necessary.

A tip system would be a great way for clients to demonstrate their appreciation for good work.

    This is a very blessed feature to add. When I operate in Fiverr as a seller I'm receiving tips on every 3rd or 4th transaction but in PPH very rarely a buyer offers voluntarily to pay more than the agreed amount, and that's really when I went the extra mile.

    Yannis - I suggest you collect some intelligence how this is done in Fiverr and then integrate the tipping system in a similar manner.

    I really want to be able to leave a tip when the freelancer goes above and beyond... which is most freelancers, most times.

    Should be able to pay tips or bonus for a job well done!  Very disappointed to see NO such option!

    Wonder if anyone in peopleperhour.com ever gets  or expects a bonus!

    I agree with all the previous comments.  A tip or increase fee feature is long overdue!  I'm reading comments addressing this from 5 years ago but PPH hasn't presented a solution.  Suggestion: Maybe hire one or two of the freelancers to make it happen as they are all very talented and experienced.  It's a shame that people come to your platform to provide their skills and obtain work but cannot be rewarded by those who benefited from their skills.

    Please let us know if PPH gives the freelancers some kind of discount on the fees or gives them bonus points to help excellent workers in lieu of the tip feature! But the feature is still needed.  I will leave a great reference for my freelancer in hopes that it will help them for now.  Thank you.
