    Hi Mark,

Thank you for your feedback. Let me clarify this a bit.

Initially, before a buyer posts their project, we do recommend a specific budget for their project according to certain factors. However, the buyer is free to adjust this budget as they desire. On the other side, it is up to the freelancer to decide whether they bid on this project and/or propose a different amount for this project. The initial project budget set by the buyer is not always final, but an indication of the buyer's intended budget.  There have been several cases where the initial budget has been increased after the freelancer elaborated on the complexity and required effort of a particular project.

On the moderation side, whenever our moderators identify a low budget project, they do not publish it and revert to the buyer asking them to update the budget accordingly.

In addition, there is always the option to report such projects by reporting either these particular projects (you can find this option at the bottom of every project view page) or the buyers (report option can be found on their profile). Our moderation team takes immediate action on these reports.

At the same time, there are several ongoing and forthcoming projects which aim to improve the way the buyers post a project and the budget recommendation mechanism. Hopefully by the end of 2020, we will have rolled out most of these updates. So stay tuned!

    Hope this helped.

    All the best,
    Yannis

Yannis, your moderator doesn't do anything! In 3D design section of the projects, almost 99% of the projects are low budget projects. Even the one whose budget are high, are actually quite low budget according to their job description and what they require. And it's getting worse everyday.

The low budget projects are attracting very low skilled people to bid, which in turn attracts buyers who prefer cheap work over quality. And this has not so much to do with country than it has to do with low skilled freelancers who will work for pennies. This is just becoming another upwork and freelancer.com crap!

    Hi Ketan,

Thank you for highlighting that there is an issue on projects under this particular category. Among other related projects, we are also in the process of updating our project moderation guidelines depending on the selected category/subcategory. This is an ongoing project that will take a couple of months more to come to an end. Hopefully, by the end of 2020 we will have improved the quality of the projects that get published.

    All the best,
    Yannis
