Lack of Interest
Is it me or has anyone else noticed a slow down in queries?
I have been a member on PPH for 8 years and the last two years has been on a full time basis. However, I have noticed over the last few weeks that things have become relatively quiet. I am a top seller in my category and I have brilliant feedback so it's not that I am new to this. Previously, I used to get a lot of interest in my offers but I have definitely noticed that things have slowed down. What is strange is that things actually picked up after lockdown in March but now things are quieter.
I have not changed anything at all.
Does anyone know why?

I know as a topcert seller the site is quiet - not just with sales but any new ideas that were being announced by the team. The support page is not really manned and payments are not delivered as per t&cs despite the commission taken (the covid excuse has been used since May and still not rectified). It just seems we have an influx of spammers, data entry gurus and expert logo designers flooding the market from India and Pakistan offering the world and not delivering for $10. Not to mention all the fake profiles, portfolios and spam content on support and job profile.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm far from full time on PPH but I aim to pick up a couple of little jobs each month to keep things ticking over and hope to acquire a repeat customer occasionally. There are few jobs worth bidding on (recently my recommended jobs have included £6, £8 and £15 projects) and when I have bid I have not won the projects. I did get into a correspondence with a buyer recently who said he had made a shortlist of 3 freelancers. A year or two ago it would have been difficult to make a shortlist of 3 for that project, and that tells me other people must be short of work as well.
