Paid invoive has now disappeared

We had to amend the price so I sent a DM to the freelancer. Immediately on sending that an invoice for 26 popped up and I thought it was the freelancer so I paid it. But now it is asking me to pay again and no sign of the payment I made. Payment made today about 12.00 or so GMT. Can you refund this payment please?
