Recover Deposit from Expired Project

I posted a project on 6 Aug 2020. I paid a deposit in escrow of £300. I changed my mind. Freelancer agreed. How to reclaim this money? They show up as taken out of my account. I don't have them anymore.

  Once money has been refunded from escrow, you can choose either to find a different freelancer on the site or withdraw funds by going to Payments found by clicking on your profile picture on the top right corner once you have logged in to your account.
