Delayed Withdrawals
This is a very terrible experience using this platform. Paypal withdrawals are so delayed. No updates from the support team regarding your money.

I had the same problem.
Support said they would escalate the issue, but everything then went quiet. I sent them a reminder asking for an update but heard nothing. The payment arrived several days late, so I left a "poor" feedback rating for the support.
Today I was greeted by a message from support saying that basically payment delays are not PPH's fault, but they have extra checks to do and they handle thousands of payments per day, blah, blah, blah... WTF??! We are all trying to run businesses here, and freelancers, in particular, rely on cash flow to survive.
I have replied to them reminding them of the fact that when a payment is requested, a note pops up saying processing will take a maximum of 48 hours. If that is no longer feasible, then they should be transparent and change it to a timescale they can actually manage.
They are quick enough to take money from you, with no checks necessary there...

It's very frustrating when we all got used to one way and without warning, they have changed the way they process withdrawals but, seem to be making excuses about it.
They are using World Pay to process their payments now, the process to world pay is 48 hours if the payment is requested before 12pm and then 7 days after that for World Pay to process giving 9 days. They haven't suggested this is what's happening but, from my conversations with customer support and the fact my withdrawals come in from World pay and World Pay deal in E-Wallets, I believe this is going to be the new norm and they are holding out for us to all get used to it.
If you complete a project that takes 7 days and then the client doesn't release for another 7 days and then the wait time of 9 days to receive the money you're waiting over 3 weeks to receive payment is just not viable. I have other clients off-site and I use to give both clients the same priority its now just not possible to do so anymore. I am now turning clients away and only doing quick jobs now rather than more complex jobs and I have increased my prices to accommodate this wait time which is to PPH benefit. I think we now have to find a way of working with this new norm that suits our businesses if we want to remain working on the site.

I think considering they take a huge chunk of the invoice, the main benefit was that the payment was quick. It's the fact that they haven't even bothered to communicate to let us know what's going on, they've basically just changed the way they work. The thing that really gets to me is that the client has already paid, so what exactly do they need to process. It should be paid directly to our accounts when the client pays it.

They are saying there is a back log of withdrawals but, they only have a lot of withdrawals lately because people are getting nervous and with the new time delay people will keep requesting every 5 mins rather than let it build up. I feel this will on encourage people to take clients off site rather than bring clients to the site. PPH want you to bring your existing clients to work commission free via the site but, why would you want to do that when you have such a time delay on payments.

This is what they said..
Indeed. We have been experiencing this problem for at least 5-6 weeks now I would say. Our team expects this resolved soon
If I am going to be honest, it is truly not a matter of "extra staff". We have suggested this to our team, they have explained this will not resolve the matter at hand . Of course I cannot explain more as it is an internal matterWe will soon implement a solution to this. We just kindly ask for your patience for a bit longer. I can confirm our team is processing many withdrawals daily. We are slowly getting back to normal.
So they're saying they still have technical issues? It all seems really dodgy to me. Even the way customer service are speaking is weird!

They have changed their payment schedule now and it sucks. They will be sitting on most payments for 14 days, but the more you earn with a client, the lower the waiting period will be. They say it is because of anti-fraud measures, but the fact there are different holding periods depending on amounts earned just proves that to be bull. They are just keeping hold of our money as long as possible in order to squeeze out as much interest as they can. It's disgraceful given they get paid immediately by clients. Once my pending payments have cleared (whenever that will be...) I'm outta here and PPH can go whistle in the wind...
