@amie, remove this post matey, if PPH see this they will ban your account for saying you will do payments outside of PPH. Sure you dont want that

@dave at this point I am over it. I've moved onto Plan B. I simply cannot wait for PPH to release funds in their own sweet time, that's not what I signed up for. I am only saying what everyone is thinking. If they are taking so long to release funds it means there are problems behind the scenes, it's a sign that the system is not stable. Time to move on.

There have been payment issues with PPH over the last couple of months. A few weeks ago withdrawal requests took a VERY SLOW 7 days for PPH to "process" - I have now been waiting for 11 days for PPH to "process" my withdrawal request! The processing time is going up! Beware, guys!

I'm in the same situation Arnie - for me it's now 11 days awaiting payments that are clearly never going to arrive. PPH has broken their own Ts&Cs so you're entitled to arrange payments outside PPH for work done in my opinion - ignore what Dave says & fill your boots if it works. Delaying payments without letting us know why like this is criminal...not sure exactly what's going on but I can't see it being resolved at this stage with a simple 'Sorry, tech/staffing problems...' - anyone believing that is naive, anyone pushing that theory is dissembling...pity anyone currently bidding. They need to be made aware that they're never going to be paid!

Marcus, ignore me, get banned because they will really help the situation. Take current clients out of pph, but how will you then get new clients when you are banned? It is bank holiday in the UK, nothing will be processed until Tuesday the earliest. Go on live chat then, escalate it with them then, be nice, sure you will be paid. By the way I was trying to help, and you get more done being polite than aggressive and just complaining

I did a chat with PPH about a week ago Dave and I was polite - might as well talk to a brick wall...

Are you telling me PPH are withholding payments until freelancers speak nicely to them?

Marcus, yes....  I've had a month's money outstanding, a four figure sum which I requested transfer on 24th.  Others have been waiting longer than this.  Yesterday I spoke to Sofia in CS, impressed upon her that I'm a Top Cert and I've been here over 10 years.  Would she have preferred me to put in 23 small requests or one large one, because it's not fair to make people wait on large sums.  She said she would escalate it and voila a couple of hours later it was transferred.  That's odd when people have been waiting longer than I have. However, it does give hope that payments are actually going through the system

I can sympathise Nancy - mine wasn't as much but I was waiting from the 18th. They just started to come in yesterday, just squeaking in under the 10-working day time now mentioned in the Ts&Cs. Sounds like the new month had something to do with it though. I'm guessing we might have to get used to longer payment times from now on.

Better communication from PPH would help though! Not sure I'll be leaving anything in my PPH account longer than it needs to be from now on...

I’m not worried about waiting 7 days if we knew in advance warning so we as freelancers could prepare. I am more worried from the t&cs that money held is not protected or ring fenced.

Yes that is worrying but 10 working days is no small leap from 48hr for anyone relying on PPH for an income too.
