Always getting buyer & seller mixed up & won't let me edit. Should read:

Why should I potentially waste another 3 credits, or even, one on a futile exercise when the buyer can't be bothered to tell me why?

    And

There SHOULD be a way of a seller requesting an explanation why the proposal is declined, if not then the credit(s) should be refunded.

An optional 'Request reason' checkbox when submitting a proposal should be available. If the buyer declines then a reason is expected.

    Thanks

    I agree Stephen

I also feel that PPH should chase up on jobs that are never responded to or deleted, Id like to know how many of my valuable proposal credits have been lost in time to projects that have never been awarded.

Maybe a good way around this is to have the same rules as unpaid invoices, if a buyer posts a job, and receives a certain number of proposals, but does not award the work within 2 weeks, then the job is suspended and credits returned to the freelancer.

I feel a little at the moment that there is far too much protection for the buyer and not enough for the freelancer.

Thoughts on this would be much appreciated PPH.

Yup, there should be humor for a seller. I agree with your point of view and I knew the feeling when the proposal is declined without any reason.
