spam responses to project

So I'm a first time user and posted a couple of projects last night and have spent the last twelve hours being spammed: multiple emails to different addresses even within a job application, Skype messages, even an unsolicited call to my mobile. None of this information was published in the job. I've also had far too many responses to the project than I can sensibly deal with - and most appear to be very low quality from people that don't appear to have read the description.

Any tips on how to do better?

  Add to that spam LinkedIn connection requests where the associated message talks about my job.... This is painful.
