How do we find out if the buyers are legit and not scammers or frauds or impostors you should have a protection for freelancers too. Because platforms for freelancers like these are targets for fraud activities. or maybe the creator of this freelance website is the fraudster itself.

  Hi Diana,

  We can ensure you that we perform every possible check to ensure that buyers on the platform are legitimate, including deactivating any such users that show signs of fraudulent activity. However we cannot guarantee that nothing will slip through the cracks, as we also don't want to discourage buyers from posting jobs by making it too complicated for them, which would reduce the amount of job posts and therefore impact freelancer impact

  This being said, all funds paid out from buyers are kept in external escrow accounts so are always 100% secure.

  No it did not help at all. It's not only about payments it's about personal information that's been given to scammers like social security, driver license which happened to me how are you going to protect my identity now that it's been given away to an impostor who pretends to be a legitimate buyer who happened to slip through the crack? Will you take responsibility for that?
