Won't start work with payment holds ... "submit a request" not working, so I'm posting it here.

    Hi Erik & Karen, I'm afraid the 2 week clearing period will remain on all payment processes under the thresholds outlined in the latest payment process update. Please note that holding off a project where a buyer has given a deposit could lead to your account being deactivated which we definitely wouldn't want.

    I'm not doing a project where I must wait two week for the buyer's funds to clear - if they ever do. What if the buyer's funds never clear? Now I've done the work, waited two weeks, then got nothing.

    You can deactivate my account if you want to, but I will not bid on any more projects as long as this fake hold stays in place.

    So stop threatening me.

    Many of us freelancers are no longer bidding on projects on the site because of this policy.

    At some point, PPH will reverse this policy - or go the way Desk-Donkey did ...
