invited to submit bid after sending proposal

i submitted a proposal to a project and now received a notification that ' i have been invited to bid first for the project. what does it mean and what is the required action from my end. Asking because I am very new to PPH.

  Hi Sanjeev, thanks for your question. I can see that you submitted a ticket over the weekend and a member of support is assisting you with your query. 

  To reiterate, the invitation you received was sent by the PPH system automatically. What the system does is filter your skills and searches and then may send you invitations to bid on the specific project as you might be interested in it. Sometimes it might be a project you already have found already.
  
  When you receive an invitation as "you have been selected..." you do not have to respond or take action. It is just a suggestion by PPH.
