Hello.

 

As a seller, do I really have to use Escrow to get paid? OR is it just for buyers?

  Thanks for your question! Escrow is a way to protect both the freelancer and the buyer. You can read more about this in our guide here. 

  Once the work is completed and after raising an invoice, you will need to go through a clearing period. After this time, you can then request a withdrawal of your funds. You can read more about our payments process in our blog post here.

  Thank you for your answer.

  Do I really have to verify my identity on Escrow first or is that not necessary? 

  (Because I lost my ID card, and I'm waiting for the new one and we verify like this on Escrow).

  Hi Sarah, in order to withdraw any funds you will need to make sure your account is verified. If you are having trouble verifying this, you will need to get in touch with the support team who will be able to talk you through the next steps.
