    There is an error in the system which is being investigated by the relevant team, we currently do not have any more information. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

    No not for a week I been told it a technical issue but they outsourced to WorldPay and this is now becoming a joke. No message to inform freelancers and no compensation despite breaking their own contract and t&c’s. It is rather concerning that they struggle to communicate especially when they pay for a social media team.

    me neither - beggars belief - particularly as we have to wait two weeks for them to pay us - it has nothing to do with AML, its an asset they are holding onto

    GOD knows how long is it gonna take.

    I hope this should be fixed within a day or so, it's becoming very unethical, first, there is a clearing period further these guys are holding up the withdrawals due to a so-called technical issue.

    I have had the same issue, I am so stressed. Took on a fixed-priced job and so took fewer hours from my regular client last month as I was relying on this fixed price money, and here I am waiting on this money that PPH won't release to my bank, all the while accruing overdrawn charges on my bank account. 

    it's sickening.

    It seems the last week of the month there payment terms go out the window and I am frankly getting fed up with it now.  You have to wait 14 days to then wait 5 days if not more to be paid after that at the end of each month. What happened to there webchat people?

    I have been calling them all day. no answer.

    This payment system is awful.

    They should give the client 5 days to check everything is good then the client pays the freelancer directly. (+ the escrow deposit system)

    I have waited 20 days now since the client paid. If i have to wait until Monday then that is one whole week later than promised/expected. I am getting in debt now because I organised my finances around last Monday.

    Why in 2022 do they only 'work' Mon-Fri finishing at 4pm??!!!

    Yes, Didn't get withdrawal money. Now it takes 14 days+ and 5 days. If they do not solve this issue before the weekend I think we should wait till Monday

    We have been informed that there is an error on the system that processes withdrawals and withdrawals are not processed at the moment. This is why you notice this delay. We are terribly sorry about this!
     
    Once the issue is resolved, we will start processing withdrawals on a chronological order. Rest assured that as soon as your withdrawal is processed, you will be informed accordingly via email.

    This is an absolute Joke.

    How can you build a freelancing platform and not have payment processing as a top priority for the freelancers that service the platform?

    ridiculous clearing times, on top of payment processing waiting times, and then these additional delays and a total lack of transparency? how the hell are we supposed to survive?

    What is it that peopleperhour do not get? I can't see this platform surviving.

    This happens every couple of months - ever since I joined 4 years ago. Zero communication and despite this happening last month and all the times previously this error never seem to impact them collecting their money. You would think they would have a contingency plan or at least put a banner up notifying freelancers to ease worries

    The fact is they changed how they paid out and a contract was given to a third-party payment provider Worldpay to issue payments and they have not reported any issues. There is no other department and it is just the message they cut and paste each time. There is no support and I haven't seen agents like Panos on the webchat for a long time and he was one of the best support members. I couldn't even name any senior members or departments for PPH. PPH behind the platform is like a hidden community that no one knows

    I was told the same on Wednesday, and the only reason I made contact was due to gut instinct. I get things go wrong, but the fact that all freelancers have had to take time out to find out rather than be told is outrageous. There are conditions placed on us that we all have to meet, including meeting customer expectations. Difficult to do when you're stressing out if you can pay bills or not. Communication is key, especially to the people making you money.

    Maybe, it's time for all of us to stop working on the platform until this issue is resolved. 

    As I don't see any valid reason to continue working, they should have been honest with us and should have told us the reason for these delayed withdrawals. 

    I have been with the platform for some years but in the last few months - this delayed withdrawal is becoming like a habit for them! Very unprofessional of them! At least, share with us the genuine reason rather than asking us to wait for the withdrawal which GOD knows when is that gonna happen.

    I requested the withdrawal on Monday, when I contact support today they would not tell me what the error was nor could they explain why it's every month.  I mentioned that if I breached the rules I would be removed from the site so what were the rules if they breach the T&C as it seems very one-sided the T&C.  I also asked that if I did not receive my money today were they going to compensate me for missing my financial obligations.  Then she said she would ask the department who deals with the payments to pay me and they have so I think it's a case of who shouts the loudest.  I cannot keep fighting this site anymore it's ridiculous now.

    All quite odd.  I asked for a substantial amount to be withdrawn on Monday.  Today, Friday, after enquiring about it, and receiving the general pasted answers, I've had enough.  Told them I shall be encouraging clients to pay me directly.  Lo and behold, I've been paid.  Although, by the time it hits my bank, and with Bank Holiday, it could be next Tuesday / Wednesday before I actually see it.  That was a lot of money - think council tax, gas, elec bills, food, etc, which I can't get my hands on.  No incentive to work here any more.  Terrible service. PPH. Why don't you ever listen to us, and at least communicate with us properly?

    Yes @Anita, I can confirm they have started processing the payments now. 

    It seems like they are doing it in the order of first come first serve, I hope this issue gets resolved now once and for all, rather than happening every month. As most of us including myself rely on these payments as this is the only source of income.

    This is just a joke.

    First, they need 14 days to process payments due to AML. Bullshit, I worked in the baking industry, I built a system to manage AML compliance for major banks. We processed the info in minutes.

    After that, they have problems processing withdrawals without giving any information, reason, or feedback, unless you ask and get a copy/paste response.

    Going to move all my clients to Xolo.

    DO you think we are fools to beleive you each time > atleast give excuses in a way that seems undrestandable you even dont have sense to make excuses . Idiots

    i waited 14 days to be able to withdraw, when the day came, they made me verify my identity again even though i used to withdraw and verify my identity successfully a few years ago, now i am waiting for them to approve my identity and don't know when will it be done so i can withdraw only a small amount, too annoying
