Filter Out Old Projects That Are Forgotten

Hello everyone, I am new and have noticed something about this website for freelancers. I have found many open projects that say, "We need this done right away." Yet they are months old and never got awarded to a freelancer. I would like to filter out these abandoned projects so that I don't waste my proposal credits. I don't feel confident spending them on projects that have been forgotten and will never be awarded.
