Client is not aware about the 30% minimum deposit neither minimum bid!
Hello,
Im a bit confused here... im both a freelancer and a client, i hire freelancers from time to time, and there is no indications in client side that the freelancers only allowed to bid equal or above the average bids already made neither telling them that the minimum deposit the freelancers can ask is 30%, because some clients insist of max deposit and most of the time its about 25% or less and another ask for more than that we get automatically rejected !!!
Please either make it very clear for clients about this or just remove it, its completely useless, clients can decide by themselves, without talking about freelancers whom bid is so very high made the next and forwards bids insanely high...
Thanks!

Hi Aouadi,
What you have written in the first section is incorrect, on 'fixed price' or 'per hour' jobs without a price attached by the buyer you can put a bid of any amount that you please (as long as it is above the threshold amount in our T&Cs). That is why an average is an average - some people have bid below that figure and some above!
If a buyer is not willing to put at least 30% or more into the escrow then I assume they are not worth working for, I worry about such buyers, what are they going to do once the work is complete? Likewise if they ask for free work/samples for their business - all of this is against our T&Cs.
We have articles such as https://support.peopleperhour.
