    Hi Rob,

There is a minimum charge on invoices. I don't know what it is in Euros but in GBP it is £2.50. That becomes a very high percentage charge on small invoices. The minimum still applies if you have earned over the threshold and are supposed to be on a 5% rate. That happened to me once when I took on a small job at the end of the month expecting a 5% charge, only to be hit by the minimum charge, which was a lot more than 5%.

If you are doing several small jobs for the same buyer it is better if you can get them charged on one invoice instead of a lot of little ones.

    Hi Simon,

Thanks for replying to my post, I will definitely consider that in the future... The only downside is I don´t know when and how often someone is going to be purchasing my hourlies...

Thanks again for the speedy reply, shame PPH representatives can´t be so efficient :o)

The other option is to increase your own minimum charge. If they have a minimum of 3 Euros and a 20% fee you would need to be charging 15 Euros for your hourly to keep the fee down to 20%.

This is something I have raised with PPH that the minimum charge for an invoice should be matched to the minimum price for a project.

Totally agree with you, although I don´t think it will happen anytime soon :o(

I´m still waiting for them to sort out the jobs that people post with viruses as attachments (that was over a year ago)..

Thanks again for your info, definitely something for me to think about... :o)
