Extremely Late Payment Approval and NO COMMUNICATION!
What the title says. Completely and utterly disgusting experience. I asked for a withdrawal on the 23rd. It's been a full week since then. I submitted a ticket and the answer they gave me was, "Wait another day and then message me again then so I can escalate the matter."
How can an employee even write that given the fact I already asked to escalate this matter since it's literally been at least 5 business days since my request? Feels like I'm the subject of a bad joke. Fees are taken out instantaneously but payment delays are the norm.
This website not only charges fees out the ass for absolutely everything, leaving me with barely 60% of earnings in some cases, but also provides NO communication WHATSOEVER when the whole website is experiencing weeks' worth of delays. This is single-handedly the worst thing about this situation. The "Submit a Request" button doesn't even work any longer on three computers I've tried so far! I have to right-click "Open a New Link" so I can actually go through with putting forward a ticket. I half suspect this to be intentional.
Do not sign up for PeoplePerHour! Both freelancers and customers are treated like dogs. I've submitted two tickets in the past for similar reasons and after the issue was resolved the agents even had the audacity to ask me to rate my interaction with them highly so they get a bonus! How unprofessional is that?!
Maddeningly infuriating. Deserves every bad review it can get. How can you allow this to happen? You update your Twitter everyday with useless, inane drivel but don't have the modicum of respect for your users to announce a payment delay. And this is FIVE DAYS since! Let alone other stories I've heard of people having asked for withdrawals even earlier than the 23rd and still having not gotten it. Horrible, horrible, horrible!

Hi Emanuel.
I just wanted to bring this https://support.peopleperhour.com/hc/en-us/articles/205218447-Withdrawing-Money to your attention, in case you hadn't read it. It states that for international transfers, it's not unusual for the transfer to take up to 7 days and for certain countries up to a month. I'm not affiliated with PPH in any way, I don't even know if you fall into one of the above high-delay categories and definitely not trying to underestimate your frustration - just adding some info.
Hope the issue is resolved soon for you. Have a good day.

Hi
Unfortunately, this is an ongoing issue with PPH and it seems to be worse towards to end of each month, not sure if there is a connection. I find it very frustrating, inconvenient, and a real concern not knowing when much-needed funds will arrive. In my contact with support yesterday I was told there was a technical issue when I enquired what this issue was I was told it's due to the number of withdrawals and they were not paying out anything yesterday. Not sure if this is deemed as a technical issue? Whilst PPH is not my main source of income but, have got a good set of regular clients I service via the site it's difficult to give both avenues of income the same attention when one is not paying in a timely fashion. fingers crossed for our payout today.

I'm having the same issue, its been over a week, but literally as I was typing this comment the notification came through that my request has been processed, so thats a relief. The delay was damaging my ability to deliver the work on time. My real concern here though is that delays like this might be an indication that people per hour are in financial difficulty and holding on to payments in order to cover other expenses at certain times of the month ...

I have resorted to this comment because there is no support available! ...I am worried about the same thing Bill. I've been waiting for several days now for funds to be processed, after not having used PPH for some time. After returning to the platform, this doesn't fill me with confidence or enthusiasm for continuing. I am concerned that taking this long to process a request means that PPH are in financial difficulty. How can we have confidence to work with potential buyers on here if there is a risk we will both be left out of pocket? PPH you need to do better!

It has been 7 days with me and I still didn't get my money and now when I contacted them they pick up an issue with the client from the previous year. LOL! They pick something that has nothing do with the delay instead of accepting their mistake. Every single cs agent is a nonsense and useless in pph support team.
