Freelancer fees are extortionate
AnsweredThere are very few jobs on here advertised for over £500
20% seller withdrawal fee for jobs under £500 is extortionate and that is per buyer.
So every time you work for a new client under £500, you're charged 20%
When making the proposal it says you'll earn £X which is actually a complete lie by time you withdraw the money
This is far more expensive than any other platform I've done work on

Hi Dion!
First of all thanks for taking the time to provide us with feedback - this is so invaluable to us.We are constantly listening to our community and evaluating any changes processed within our platform that can impact your experience either as a freelancer or a buyer.
That being said we are always reviewing our product changes, fees amongst them, reducing any negative impact they may have to our users.
Again thank you, and I hope you stick with us since we have exciting things coming!
Regards,
Haris

Hi Karl,
thanks for your comments.
I don't know if you are aware of this, but since Monday we have updated our fee scheme (you can read more here)
With this new fee structure we are trying to help and motivate our community to create sustainable relationships with buyers, a win-win situation for both sides.
Thanks,
Haris
