don't understand how the buyer's job works??

In my workstream there are 3 job requests, the buyer's money goes to the escrow account, "pending status". but in the column "freelancer account" there is no information I got a job. Have I really got this job?. Im newbie member. for communication to buyers I have difficulty. If you can't upload your work, it says "You can't message or your work before the buyer chats with you". What should I do now??. I also don't know when my last project should be depositing to the buyer. must be written the last time the job was sent. please help my PPH admin. Thank You
